On the occasion of the 56th anniversary of the Unification of Jerusalem, all kinds of events will be held throughout the city for a week. A street party, morning prayers at the Western Wall, musical performances, activities in museums and more.... One of the main activities was the Jerusalem Day march in which more than 80,000 people participated. At the Jerusalem Day march, we led a campaign with a few stalls as well as a team of young people marching in the flags parade.

In 2023, 12729 Israeli Jews and 161732 tourists ascended the Temple Mount.

After forty-nine days of preparation, which is seven weeks of sanctification and purification, Shavuot is one holy day.This is also reflected in its variety of names.

-“ The time of the giving of the Torah”: In the prayers we call it that because on this day we stood at Mount Sinai and God gave us the Ten Commandments.

-The Festival of Shvua (swearing): The nation of Israel swore to observe the Torah and mitzvot. This swearing is eternal and the purpose of all it’s existence.
- Festival of the First Fruits: these first fruits of the trees which are consecrated to be given as an offering to the Jerusalem Temple for thanks to the creator for being able to benefit from the good harvest.

-The Day of the Gathering: The day the tribes gathered to receive the Torah at Mount Sinai "as one man with one heart". The saying "we will do and then we will hear" and not "I will do and hear" defines that of a united people. Everyone made a mutual commitment to his fellow man.

-The holiday of 'Azeret' (stopping): because on this day every person must stop and check the spiritual studies he acquired during the days of preparation in order to be properly impressed by the lights of the Torah

Such as eating matzah on Passover, blowing the shofar on Rosh Hashanah, or sitting in the Sukkah on Sukkot, so that we can return to the past and relive the Exodus, there is no symbolic mitzvah on Shavuot that sets it apart .This is only for giving supreme and singular importance to the event of the giving of the Torah.

The holiday of Shavuot encompasses all the mitzvot and times and penetrates the depths of the soul of the people of Israel.

Acceptance of the Torah continues throughout the days of a person's life, and it is renewed and refreshed every day, in all generations and in all times.

By the speedy construction of the 3rd Temple, we can fulfill the 613 mitzvot of the Torah!
